List of Journals with Impact Factors - 2015

Dear Readers..!!! Thanks for visiting my blog...!!!

The IF provides quantitative tools for ranking, evaluating, categorizing, and comparing journals. The impact factor is a measure of the frequency with which the "average article" in a journal has been cited in a particular year or period. The impact factor of a journal is calculated by dividing the number of current year citations to the source items published in that journal during the previous two years.
The impact factor is useful in clarifying the significance of absolute (or total) citation frequencies. It eliminates some of the bias of such counts which favor large journals over small ones, or frequently issued journals over less frequently issued ones, and of older journals over newer ones. Particularly in the latter case such journals have a larger citable body of literature than smaller or younger journals. All things being equal, the larger the number of previously published articles, the more often a journal will be cited.

Calculation of journal impact factors:

A= Total cites in 2015
B = 2015 cites to articles published in 2013-2014 (this is the subset of A)
C = Number of articles published in 2013- 2014
D = B/C = 2015 Impact Factor
Here is the list of all the top journals which are indexed, this helps in differentiating the true journals which are well indexed from that of fake journals. This document will also provide you the journal cited half - life.

Wishing you success!!!

Clinical Pharmacy Council : A Huge Fraud

Dear Readers..!!! Thanks for visiting my blog...!!!

Clinical Pharmacy Council (CPC) is formed in 2014 with a motto of transforming traditional pharmacy practice into Advanced patient centered pharmacy practice. It has been seen in every part of social media regarding CPC which framed a fake reputation among pharmacists for self benefits. It has been misguiding the pharmacists of India from the past couple of years by giving permission and certification to practice pharmacy by opening a pharma-clinic. Please note that NO NGO or Society or Private Association has a right to certify you or permit you to practice by opening a clinic.

European Society of Clinical Pharmacy, United Kingdom of Clinical Pharmacy Association, American Colleges of Clinical Pharmacy, South African Society of Clinical Pharmacy are the International Associations of Clinical Pharmacists formed by the collaborative memorandum with various International Organizations providing advocacy and resources to achieve excellence in practice, research and education with various specializations. Whereas CPC in India is formed by a private association or an individual which was constituted by the Society Registration Act (but not Pharmacy Act). Please note both cannot be the same. It is foolish to be a member of such body after being licensed from the concerned Pharmacy Council.

The Right to Information Act (RTI) activists had approached the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) to give a clarity on CPC, after investigation by PCI; Clinical Pharmacy Council was proved to be a fraud with no right to register/ license/ certify pharmacists. This is just to misguide the pharmacists for personal benefits --- says the Registrar-cum-Secretary Ms. Archana Mudgal. A circular to the Andhra Pradesh State Pharmacy Council and the Drugs Controller was also passed by the PCI to take immediate action on the members of the CPC and ban the concerned website.
